CSIC and Kaztec Engineering Explore Strategic Partnership
Abuja, Nigeria - Representatives of China Shipbuilding Industry Company (CSIC), the state owned largest shipbuilding Company China, arrived Abuja today to explore a joint venture relationship with Kaztec Engineering Limited (http://www.kaztec-eng.com). The joint venture could involve shipbulding and other potential opportunities in Nigeria.
CSIC is a conglomerate of over Forty Six (46) subsidiaries that include among others, China Shipbuilding Offshore International Company (CSOC), China Ship Design & Research Center, and China Shipbuilding Industry Equipment & Materials, among others.
CSIC has built several Floating, Production, Storage & Offloading (FPSO) Vessels. CSIC also has expertise in Project Management Team Support, Integrated Project Management System, Mooring Designs and Fabrications etc.
The team of Kaztec and CSIC made a joint presentation to the Hon. Minister of State Petroleum Resources and his team showcasing their joint capabilities. They also underscored their strategic objective of building similar capabilities in shipbuilding and fabrication in Nigeria.
