A long time Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria and Head of the Federal Civil Service, Alhaji Idris also served as the Clerk of the National Assembly between 1979 and 1983.

Barraquias is a financial management professional executive with more than twenty-five years of hands-on experience working for private and publicly listed Philippine, Indonesian and Nigerian companies. He possesses a demonstrative track record in a variety of financial roles as a leader, mover, innovator and catalyst of company operations and projects. He earned his Masters in Businness Management from the Asian Institute of Management in May 1979.
